Sharma was found dead at the age of 44 in his Mumbai residence of Maharashtra on Wednesday night, 5 August 2020. The police said, “Looking at body’s condition, it’s suspected that he died by suicide two days back.” He allegedly commited suicide and was found hanging from his kitchen ceiling.[7] Police officials suspected a suicide attempt but said that no suicide note was found.
