Coleman’s mother, Melinda, shared the news on Facebook on Tuesday.
“My daughter Catherine Daisy Coleman committed suicide tonight,” Melinda Coleman wrote. “If you saw crazy messages and posts it was because I called the police to check on her. She was my best friend and amazing daughter. I think she had to make it seem like I could live without her. I can’t. I wish I could have taken the pain from her! She never recovered from what those boys did to her and it’s just not fair. My baby girl is gone.” Peoples Magazine reported.

Would you say this documentary is appropriate for teens/preteens? Wondering if I should let my son watch with me or not?

After I watched it I found this discussion guide for parents. I found it very helpful. Irregardless I would watch it first without your children….so you already know what it is going to show & talk about.
I hope this helps

This story makes me tearful. A beautiful young girl’s life ruined… and now her family has to endure a life without her in the physical. So much potential lost because of a thoughtless brutal, not to mention criminal act.
Jane Carruthers wrote
Heartbreak for everyone here. I hope her spirit is flying with angels right now.
Joan Johnson wrote
I never knew of this. Until Amy’s death I knew very little about suicide and how it can touch any family. Not just the Robin Williams and famous people.
